Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) - National Component

On Tuesday, January 11, 2005, the national 2005 Conservation Innovation Grants Request For Proposals (RFP) was released. Links to specific information,  including the Final Rule and the RFP, are listed near the bottom of this page. The deadline for submitting the RFP application to the NRCS national office is March 28, 2005.

2005 CIG National Component Information

In 2005, the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the CIG national component was issued on Tuesday, January 11, 2005. The RFP announced that up to $15 million for CIG funding would be available in 2005 for the nationwide grant program. Individual applications are limited to $1 million in CIG funding. Complete applications must be received by the NRCS National Office by 5 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Monday, March 28, 2005.
