Birds of Guam

The birds of Micronesia are some of the most unique in the world. Adapted and colorful, Micronesia birds face the loss of habitat and a very real threat from the Brown Tree Snake (Boiga irregularis). The Brown Tree Snake is a serious threat on Guam and to neighboring islands. On Guam or the CNMI, if you see a bird in nature, you can use the information here to help identify it.
